You can also direct the water hoses back into the water bowl instead of into the pot. There is a hole provided for this purpose where the hoses are inserted and so the recirculated water is fed back into the water bowl. This means that no condensation is fed to the plants and you can water and fertilize regularly. This procedure is also necessary if over-fertilization or overwatering has taken place
